Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Thursday suggested recent Obama administration foreign policy decisions indicated weakness.
Kinzinger pointed to Sony’s decision to cancel the release of the controversial comedy film “The Interview,” which depicts the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. He further highlighted the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on the CIA’s use of torture as well as withdrawing troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.
{mosads}”We condemn the CIA, coddle Cuba, leave Iraq, withdraw from Afghanistan, and pull Sony movie. We are better than this,” tweeted Kinzinger, who also serves as a pilot in the Air National Guard.
The Illinois Republican suggested Sony overreacted to the controversy over “The Interview.”
“Hey @Sony, I’d really like to watch “The Interview.” Maybe in a classified briefing?” Kinzinger wrote on Twitter.
