Report: Herman Cain robocalls Nev. voters to attend Reno rally
{mosads}”With Nevada leading the country in unemployment and foreclosures, it’s time for Nevadans to stand up to President Obama and the progressive policies that have put Nevada at the top of nearly every bad list in the country,” continues Cain.
The event will be held shortly after President Obama addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) convention in Reno.
Americans for Prosperity says it has received 500 RSVPs for the event, according to reports.
Cain dropped out of the GOP presidential race after his campaign was rocked by a series of sexual harassment allegations dating back years.
Cain, however, denied the charges and vowed to continue to play a role in Republican Party politics and push his populist “9-9-9” tax reform plan.
He endorsed Romney in May.
The presumptive GOP nominee is also addressing the VFW convention on Tuesday.
“Let’s show the liberals that conservatives are fighting back,” Cain says in his call, calling on conservatives to rally in Reno.
