Documents of woman who allegedly sent anthrax to Florida senators released
The indictment charges Kathryn Cohen Allen, of Jasper, Fla., with nine counts related to sending threats and fake Anthrax to the two senators from Florida between June 24-28 in 2011.
According to the indictment, Allen “provided to another person for delivery in the United States mail an envelope addressed to” both Nelson and Rubio. The respective envelopes “contained a white powdery substance a a letter threatening the life of” both senators.
Allen faces 45 years in prison if found guilty.
