Trump: White House officials are ‘babies’

New York business mogul Donald Trump on Saturday criticized President Obama’s proposed trade agenda as one that would shortchange American businesses.

“The new trade deal is a disaster,” Trump said at the South Carolina Freedom Summit in Greenville, S.C.

“They don’t talk about currency manipulation,” he said. “That’s the tool all these countries are using to beat us.”

{mosads}Trump was taking aim at the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The potential free trade agreement would ease economic cooperation between the U.S. and 11 Pacific Rim nations.

“Most nations don’t respect us,” Trump said of why he distrusted the TPP’s potential success.

“Our leaders are incompetent,” he said of the Obama administration. “They’re babies.”

Trump, a possible 2016 GOP presidential contender, said passing the TPP would incentivize U.S. businesses to ship more of their jobs and products overseas.

Trump said should he run and win election next year, he would keep American the dominant economic power worldwide.

“I’d be the greatest jobs president ever,” Trump said.

“I know where the money is,” he added. “I would put 150 percent of my energy into making this country rich again.”

Trump hinted he would publicly reveal his Oval Office aspirations in the near future.

“I think a lot of people are going to be very happy and very surprised,” he said of his upcoming decision.

Trump charged that his background as a self-made man already presented a stark contrast to typical politicians and their dependency on wealthy special interests.

“I don’t need PACs, I use my own money,” Trump said of political action committees and the fundraising they often perform on behalf of presidential candidates.

“I don’t give a s— about lobbyists,” Trump added, citing his wealth as $10 billion. “The lobbyists will come and see me.”

The New York businessman closed by urging voters to pick the best candidate for restoring American exceptionalism, even if the name on their ballot was not his.

“Our country has tremendous potential,” he said. “We can’t let it continue to go down the drain.”
