Defense Secretary Ashton Carter will head to Saudi Arabia in an effort to convince the the Middle East of the benefits of the nuclear deal with Iran, Reuters reported Wednesday.

The trip will include a stop in Israel as well. It’s part of a multi-pronged White House effort to sell the agreement internationally.

{mosads}Reuters also reported that national security adviser Susan Rice indicated Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile will end up being shipped to Russia.

“It can be shipped out to a third country, like Russia,” Rice said. “That’s probably the most likely means … Russia has its own fissile material, it’s handled it appropriately, we’re not concerned about that.”

Negotiators in Vienna announced Tuesday they reached a deal to curb Iran’s nuclear development program in exchange for sanctions relief, a major victory for President Obama.
