Bruce Springsteen, the E Street Band and Jon Stewart’s most famous “The Daily Show” alumni sent him out with style on Thursday night.

Stewart’s all-time favorite band joined former correspondents Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Ed Helms and Steve Carell in wishing the host farewell after 16 years at the helm of the Comedy Central program, according to CNN.

{mosads}The final edition of Stewart’s long-running political satire program will air at 11 p.m. Thursday.

There were several pre-taped goodbyes from people about whom Stewart waged a war of words, including Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly, who didn’t hesitate in calling Stewart a “quitter.”

Other taped fare-thee-wells, included Hillary Clinton and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg congratulated Stewart on a “great run.”

“Your smart, funny take on the news of the day will be missed,” Bloomberg said on Twitter.

Mayor Bill De Blasio declared Thursday as “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Day.”

Stewart even got a shout-out from his beloved New York Mets, his favorite baseball team, who are actually in first place.
