Trump expands staff in three states

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump has hired new campaign operatives in Florida, Texas and Virginia.

The outspoken billionaire will now have a campaign state director for each location.

{mosads}“We are in this to win it,” Trump said in a statement Friday morning. “These staff additions are the continuation of our plan to have a strategic and significant presence across the country.”

Trump has hired Karen Giorno in Florida, Corbin Casteel in Texas and Mike Rubino in Virginia.

Giorno previously worked in the Sunshine State for Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) before joining Trump’s campaign.

Casteel is a corporate communications and political strategy specialist who previously worked for the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Rubino served in the 2014 election campaign for Rep. David Brat (R-Va.). Brat notably upset then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) in the GOP primary.

Trump’s latest campaign maneuvers show the New York business mogul is thinking beyond the 2016 presidential election’s early-voting states.

Iowa conducts the nation’s first presidential primary in early February. Texas and Virginia, meanwhile, vote on March 1 along with the majority of other states on Super Tuesday. Florida will hold its own version on March 15.
