Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has divulged what she would do if she won the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot: She’d spend it on her campaign.
“I did!” Clinton said breaking into laughter when asked at the end of an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” if she had bought a Powerball ticket.
{mosads}”And if you win?” host George Stephanopoulos pushed.
“Well, I’ll fund my campaign,” Clinton responded matter of factly, before laughing again.
Clinton is battling Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire, where the two are neck-and-neck in polls just weeks before ballots are cast.
Others have expressed an interest in the jackpot, with a supporter of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush having given the Republican presidential hopeful a Powerball ticket before Saturday’s drawing, which sat at $900 million.
