Obama hosts Boehner, McConnell and Cantor for pre-inaugural coffee
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama sat down for coffee with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) Monday morning ahead of the presidential inauguration.
The wives for Boehner, Cantor, and McConnell were also at the meeting.
{mosads}The meeting with congressional leaders is a tradition on Inauguration Day.
Cantor and Boehner spokesman Brendnan Buck tweeted about the meeting and McConnell’s office confirmed his attendance.
