Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is changing his tune on Donald Trump, calling on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee to visit Mexico.
{mosads}”I think it’s very important to invite Donald Trump to come to Mexico and to learn about the real Mexico,” Fox said Wednesday night on Fox News’s “The O’Reilly Factor.”
Fox earlier in the day issued an apology to Trump, telling Breitbart, “If I offended you, I’m sorry. But what about the other way around?”
In February, Fox said Mexico would not pay for Trump’s “f—— wall,”
Some Mexican officials have recently changed their tune on Trump, who this week became the GOP’s presumptive nominee for the White House after winning the Indiana primary on Tuesday.
Trump told The New York Times the wall he advocates building on the U.S.-Mexico border — which he claims Mexico will pay for — would be designed within his first 100 days in office.
