Freedom Caucus chief: I’m ‘enthusiastically’ behind Trump

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) says he’s all aboard the Trump train.

Jordan said Wednesday on a Washington Examiner podcast that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has his “enthusiastic” support.

{mosads}”I’m going to pull [the lever.] I’m going to pull it enthusiastically because — look, he wasn’t my pick in the primary, everyone knows that,” Jordan said, adding that he always planned to support the Republican nominee.

“I’m going to work for him because I know the alternative,” he said.

Jordan said he chose to support Trump after learning about his positions on abortion and guns.

He added that he believes Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton lied about the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Jordan is serving on the House select committee formed to investigate the Benghazi attacks.
