Supreme Court takes up Mich. law banning affirmative action
The Supreme Court said Monday it will hear yet another high-profile case on affirmative action.
The court took up a challenge to a Michigan law that bans the use of race in college admissions. The court is already set to rule this year in a suit over affirmative action programs at the University of Texas, Austin.

Justice Elena Kagan recused herself from the decision to take the Michigan case.
