Geraldo Rivera calls out Trump’s ‘bull—-‘

Fox News personality Geraldo Rivera on Wednesday slammed Donald Trump for suggesting that “Second Amendment people” should act against Hillary Clinton.

Rivera tweeted that Trump is a longtime friend, but added, “his #SecondAmendmentPeople bullshit was dangerous incitement.”
{mosads}”This is a federal crime if he means what he said,” Rivera said during an appearance Tuesday on Fox News’s “The Five.”

“I’m telling you that this slip of the tongue, this joke, this is a joke like a mother joke, this is a lead balloon joke,” Rivera continued.

“It is so profoundly careless it falls into the area of, ‘What the hell?'” Rivera said.

Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential nominee, has caught flak from members of both parties over his remarks Tuesday at a rally in Wilmington, N.C., where he appeared to joke about gun owners taking action against Clinton.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” he told supporters.

“By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” Trump continued, adding, “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.

His campaign said Trump was referring to how Second Amendment backers could unite politically to defeat Clinton at the polls and accused media of distorting his comments.
