Limits on US-Mexico air travel to be lifted
The U.S. will begin lifting restrictions on air travel between the U.S. and Mexico Sunday, The Associated Press reports.
{mosads}The changes will possibly bring lower prices for customers.
American, Delta and Southwest airlines have announced they will begin offering new flights between the two countries later this year, while United Airlines will wait to see what the demand is like for the service.
The U.S. and Mexico agreed in December to open their aviation markets to each other’s carriers, the AP reports.
The change will lift rules that previously limited two or three airlines from each country to a particular route, allowing both Mexican and American airlines will be able to fly any routes.
