Ivanka Trump on Wednesday said her father’s health is “unbelievable” as the Republican presidential nominee weighs releasing more medical information.
“I will tell you that the strength, the stamina, that is required of what he does every day is unbelievable,” she said of Donald Trump on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
{mosads}”He does this every day,” she said. Pressed on whether there would be any surprises about his health, Ivanka repeated, “His health is unbelievable.”
Ivanka Trump said she would let the GOP nominee speak for himself regarding what he’ll releasing about his health.
Donald Trump’s campaign said Wednesday that Trump had opted not to release the results of a medical exam on “The Dr. Oz Show” this week.
Television personality Mehmet Oz had said he wanted to ask Trump “pointed” questions about his health and a Fox News host suggested Oz would reveal the results of Trump’s physical on his show Thursday.
Instead, Trump aides said the businessman’s appearance on the show would focus on general health issues like the importance of an active lifestyle.
“If he is asked a question about his health or his stamina, I’m sure he’ll be happy to answer it. He’s always happy to answer,” Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom.”
The health of Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, was thrust into the spotlight over the weekend when she had to be helped into a car after “overheating” at a 9/11 memorial. Her campaign later announced she had been diagnosed with pneumonia.
The Clinton campaign has promised to release more of her health records and insists she does not have other health problems. Trump and his allies have encouraged speculation that Clinton might be hiding something from the public.
