Michael Moore visits Trump Tower

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on Saturday was turned away when he tried to get into Donald Trump’s office to meet with him, according to pool reports.

Moore entered the lobby of Trump Tower, went up the escalators and tried to get into an elevator to go up to Trump’s office, but was stopped by Secret Service.

{mosads}Before leaving, Moore tried again to get a meeting with Trump, the president-elect, by talking to the doorman, who also turned him away.

The director left a note with the doorman for Trump that read, “Mr. Trump. I’m here. I want to talk to you.”

Moore left the building to join the large protest that had been brewing outside of Trump Tower and called on Trump to resign in a tweet.

“I’m in the middle of thousands -tens of thousands?- of American voters outside Trump Tower demanding he step aside,” Moore tweeted.

“He got the least votes,” he added, referring to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote.

In July, Moore had accurately predicted that Trump would win the presidential election based on his strength in the Rust Belt states of Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania — all states in which he beat Clinton.

“Calling it gives me no pleasure,” Moore said in Trump Tower on Saturday.
