Dem senator: I’d support nuclear option if GOP in White House
{mosads}Democrats and Republicans have all but switched roles in the debate over Senate rules, after GOP senators pushed or up-or-down votes on judicial nominees in 2005.
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), appearing with Klobuchar, noted that very few of Obama’s nominees had been defeated, and that the chamber had come together to pass broad farm and immigration measures.
“Where’s the problem here?” Hatch asked.
