Stallone won’t take Arts job under Trump: report
Actor Sylvester Stallone won’t be taking a job under President-elect Donald Trump, BuzzFeed reported Sunday.
The “Rocky” actor was reported last week to have been one of the president-elect’s picks for the chairman of the National Endowment of the Arts. BuzzFeed said Sunday that Stallone was “flattered” to have been considered but wouldn’t take the position if offered.

{mosads}”I am incredibly flattered to have been suggested to be involved with the National Endowment of the Arts,” Stallone told BuzzFeed. “However I believe I could be more effective by bringing national attention to returning military personnel in an effort to find gainful employment, suitable housing and financial assistance these heroes respectfully deserve.”
Stallone has praised Trump in the past.
In January, Stallone told Variety, “I love Donald Trump. He’s a great Dickensian character. You know what I mean?”
