Ivanka Trump hosting fundraiser for Cory Booker

{mosads}The fundraiser will be at Trump’s home in Manhattan. Trump is hosting the fundraiser with her husband Jared Kushner and Josh Kushner, Jared’s younger brother, according to a source with knowledge of the event.

Trump and Jared Kushner have reportedly raised more than $40,000 for Booker’s campaign in the first four months of 2013.

On Thursday, Booker’s campaign announced it had raised $4.6 million between April and June 2013.

Recent polls show Booker is the commanding favorite, with a 40-point lead in the Senate race. A Quinnipiac Poll of the New Jersey Democratic primary found 52 percent of registered voters support Booker, followed by Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. with 10 percent support, Rep. Rush Holt with 8 percent and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver with 3 percent.

Both Ivanka Trump and her father endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election.
