@rklein90 @kfc Hahaha, no. I’ve never been paid for any posts. It’s just something we do.

When a Huffington Post editor asked about KFC, Snowden replied: “I’ve never been paid for any posts. It’s just something we do.”
{mosads}Earlier on Thursday the House Intelligence Committee released a report that alleges Snowden still maintains contact with Russian intelligence.
The declassified portions of the 37-page document, according to lawmakers, call some of Snowden’s claims into question and “demonstrate that the public narrative popularized by Snowden and his allies is rife with falsehoods, exaggerations and crucial omissions.”
Snowden’s attorney, Ben Wizner, pushed back on the report, stating that it paints a “fictional portrait” of Snowden.
“The report … combines demonstrable falsehoods with deceptive inferences to paint an entirely fictional portrait of an American whistleblower,” Wizner said in a statement.
