CNN will hold a town hall featuring Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) next week, the network announced early Wednesday.
Anchor Chris Cuomo is set to moderate the event Monday at 9 p.m.
Cuomo said the town hall will focus on the “major issues facing our nation and how Democrats plan to take on the president-elect.”
Sanders has pledged to fight President-elect Donald Trump on issues such as climate change, pharmaceutical pricing and Medicare.
{mosads}Following the election, the self-described democratic socialist told reporters he thought he might have had a better chance at winning the White House than Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton had and hinted at another run in 2020.
This will be Sanders’s second televised town hall since the election. In early December, he spoke at an MSNBC event in Wisconsin.
