Our nation has at times created & enforced unjust laws. It is up to people of conscience to expose such injustice through nonviolent means.

Lewis recently made headlines when he said he thought President-elect Donald Trump was not a “legitimate president.” On Saturday, Trump responded to Lewis’s remarks, saying on Twitter that Lewis was “all talk” and “no action.”
A bipartisan wave of politicians criticized Trump for his response to Lewis. Trump’s transition team defended the president-elect, saying Lewis’s initial comments were “disappointing.”
