Weiner keeping aide following rant

{mosads}Morgan apologized Tuesday night for a profane attack on former campaign intern Olivia Nuzzi in which she said Nuzzi was hungry for fame and “sucked” at her job.

“In a moment of frustration, I used inappropriate language in what I thought was an off-the-record conversation. It was wrong and I am very sorry,” said Morgan. Nuzzi said via Twitter that she had accepted Morgan’s apology.

Nuzzi authored a piece in Tuesday’s New York Daily News in which she mocked Weiner’s staff for having “short resumes” and said that many were only on the campaign to curry favor with Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin, a close aide of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Weiner has plummeted in the polls following his admission last week that he continued to send lewd messages to women online well after similar behavior forced him to resign from Congress.
