Obama’s post-presidential vacation delayed by bad weather
Barack Obama’s post-presidential vacation was unexpectedly delayed when bad weather in Southern California stopped his plane from landing at Palm Springs International Airport Friday.
The delay was brief, with the Obamas landing instead at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, approximately 50 miles west of Palm Springs.

According to a report by CNN, Obama and his family landed at 5:45 p.m. local time, more than an hour after their original landing time in Palm Springs.
The Obamas left shortly after President Trump’s inauguration for his planned vacation.
A crowd had gathered to welcome the Obamas at Palm Springs airport, leaving disappointed by the change in plans.
