Chelsea Clinton: Let Barron Trump be a kid

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is encouraging Americans to let President Trump’s youngest son, Barron, “be a kid.”

“Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does — to be a kid,” Clinton tweeted on Sunday.

In the same post, she also criticized the Trump administration’s policies.

“Standing up for every kid also means opposing @POTUS policies that hurt kids.”

Clinton rushed to Barron’s defense after social media users mocked the 10-year-old on Inauguration Day on Friday.

Barron and his mother, first lady Melania Trump, will live in New York City until he ends his school year.

Her mother, Hillary Clinton, lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump in a surprise defeat.
