Judicial Branch page reappears on White House website

The page for the Judicial Branch of the government reappeared on the White House website Monday after social media users noticed it was missing over the weekend.

The page, located under the “Our Government” sub-section of the website, now sits alongside the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch subpages.

Social media users pointed out the irony of the missing subpage a day after a federal judge issued an emergency stay on deportations of detainees under Trump’s executive order.

Trump signed an executive order on Friday temporarily blocking refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.

Several other pages, including sections on climate change and LGBT rights, have disappeared during the transition period between administrations. Those pages have not reappeared on the site.

The Boston Globe reported last week that content on these official websites are often relocated during this transition phase.
