Dick Cheney will likely intensify his battle with the White House next week when he delivers remarks on national security at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI).
According to a press released from the conservative think tank, Cheney will address the issues at the heart of his dispute with the Obama administration, including the so-called “torture memos,” the effectiveness of enhanced interrogation techniques, and the possibility prosecuting former Bush administration officials.
In recent weeks, Cheney has criticized the White House in TV and radio interviews, accusing Obama of endangering America. Next Thursday’s speech will present Cheney with a clear opportunity to lay out his case against the Obama administration without interruption from a questioner.
