Romney attacks Obama in fundraising pitch

Mitt Romney is going on the offensive against President Obama in a new fundraising email to supporters.

President Obama’s first 100 days have tested the administraion, Romney writes, and “[w]hat the world learned was not good news for freedom and democracy.”

Romney cited the North Korean missile and the announcement by Iran that it has mastered all stages of the uranium enrichment process as failed tests of leadership by Obama.

“In both instances the world’s equation for peace and security was altered, and the Obama administration chose inaction,” the former Massachussetts governor wrote.

Romney, widely expected to consider a run for President in 2012, asks supporters to donate to his Free and Strong America PAC.

Those who give over $30 will receive the PAC’s “official water bottle.” A donation of $100 will win you the “official PAC golf shirt” too.
