New Commerce chief wears $525 slippers to Trump’s address
The newly confirmed secretary of Commerce wore a pair of custom slippers with his new department’s logo to President Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night.
As at least one reporter pointed out, Wilbur Ross’s slippers resembled a $525 pair from Palm Beach-based designer Stubbs & Wootton, emblazoned with the Department of Commerce logo on the top of the shoe.
