Clinton on International Women’s Day: ‘Stand up, resist, run for office’
Hillary Clinton took to Snapchat on Wednesday in honor of International Women’s Day with a message to her supporters to continue to “resist.”
Clinton is seen wearing red in the brief clip in observance of “A Day Without A Woman,” a strike organized by the group that planned the Women’s March on Washington.
{mosads}“There’s a lot to fight for: Planned Parenthood, education, healthcare, jobs,” Clinton says in her video. “Every issue is a woman’s issue. So stand up, resist, run for office, be a champion.”
Clinton also posted a message earlier on her Twitter account for International Women’s Day, and changed her profile picture to an all-red background with the Women’s March symbol.

In her post she shared a viral image of a note reportedly found in a fourth-grade classroom.
“Do you want to join a club or female empowerment,” the note reads. “We are the leaders.”
Clinton said she is “thinking about this young girl and all others like her out there,” on the day to honor women.
