Trump Tower in violation of NYC law: report
The Trump Organization is currently in violation of New York City law for a failure to register Trump Tower with the city’s Department of Housing Preservation & Development, NBC News reported Tuesday.
A department spokesperson told NBC News that President Trump’s New York skyscraper, where his wife and youngest son live, was not registered with the city this year. Owners of certain residential buildings are required register annually by Sept. 1, and Trump Tower’s registration expired in 2016.
{mosads}Failure to register can result in a $500 fine and additional restrictions on privileges often retained by property owners.
Trump Tower is located at 725 Fifth Ave. and serves as a partial residence for the president and his family.
