Warren: ‘Today is a great day… but I’m not doing a touchdown dance’
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) on Friday praised the cancellation of a vote on a GOP ObamaCare repeal bill, saying it’s a “great day” but that she isn’t “doing a touchdown dance.”
“Today is a great day for the people of Massachusetts & people across the country who depend on the Affordable Care Act. But I’m not doing a touchdown dance today,” Warren said in a series of tweets.
{mosads}”Not when the GOP is still hell-bent on rigging the system for the rich & powerful. This is why we fight. When we get out there & fight, we can make a real difference,” she continued.

Warren joins Democrats in celebrating the GOP pulling their healthcare bill after they failed to earn enough support from Republicans, including Hillary Clinton and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer as well as Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders. However, she, like some others, cautioned that this was just the beginning and more healthcare reform will likely come in the future, at which time Democrats will still have to go head-to-head with Republicans.
