Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, will write several nonfiction books as part of an agreement with a New York publisher, USA Today reported on Wednesday.
Flatiron Books announced that the former vice president will write two books, while his wife will author another one.
One of Joe Biden’s books will reportedly focus on his time in the White House and the death of his son, Beau Biden, in 2015.
{mosads}”We’re so deeply honored to be the publisher of these books by Vice President and Dr. Biden,” the publisher said in a statement, as reported by USA Today.
“The vice president’s book promises to give us all a deeper understanding of recent political history, but it will clearly also be a book about the values that have given the vice president strength in both good times and bad.”
According to The Associated Press, no details about the other two books were released. Flatiron Books also did not announce release dates.
In February, former President Obama and his wife, Michelle, agreed to book deals with a Penguin Random House imprint, The Crown Publishing Group.
