Bill Clinton catches up with George H. W. Bush, gives him new socks
Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush spent time catching up in Texas on Sunday — and adding to Bush’s extensive sock collection.
Clinton shared an image of the two together on Twitter, handing his predecessor pairs of socks.
“Great to spend time with [George H. W. Bush] and Mrs. Bush in Houston today,” Clinton tweeted. “We caught up about kids, grandkids, old times and new times. And socks.”

{mosads}Clinton gifted Bush a green pair of socks with brown labradors on them and a blue pair with bees.
Clinton once admitted that he was “envious” of his predecessor’s sock wear.
Enjoyed my annual lunch with President and Mrs. Bush in Maine. Envious of his “western cactus”-themed socks.#sockswag pic.twitter.com/nXJV2DGnnj
