Robert Kennedy Jr. says Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is a “great” U.S. senator. Though Kennedy had lobbied for his cousin Caroline to get the job, he told NY1 yesterday that Gillibrand has been top-notch so far.
“She’s been great. She’s been taking direction from the environmental community and she’s, we’ve found it very, very, very easy to work with her and she’s going to be a great Senator,” said Kennedy.
The two had just finished a lunch and unveiled a new initiative to fund environmental education in schools.
