O’Reilly to return with new podcast episode Monday

Bill O’Reilly will return to the public eye on Monday with the release of a new episode of his “No Spin News” podcast, according to his website.

O’Reilly’s website was updated Saturday night to announce the new podcast a day after his Fox News show was shuttered for good.

“The Factor” was taken off the air Friday night, with Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld hosting its final episode.

“How do I turn out the lights on such a venerable and amazing show? I can’t. It’s not my show and it’s not my place. So on behalf of all of us on ‘The Factor,’ good night and godspeed,” Gutfeld said to close the show.

{mosads}Fox severed ties with O’Reilly earlier this week in the wake of a sexual harassment scandal surrounding the star anchor. A report by The New York Times earlier this month revealed that five women were paid $13 million to settle harassment claims against O’Reilly.

Dozens of advertisers pulled their ads from the show, and the network announced after O’Reilly departed for a vacation that he would not return.

O’Reilly’s “No Spin News” podcast is only available to premium members of his website who pay $4.95 per month to access exclusive content. The Monday episode will be the first time O’Reilly has spoken publicly since he was ousted from Fox News.

O’Reilly will also have a new Twitter account after moving previous tweets and followers from his “Factor” account to a personal handle.
