George HW Bush discharged from hospital
Former President George H.W. Bush has been discharged from the hospital for the second time this year, his spokesman said Friday.
Bush, 92, checked into Houston Methodist Hospital last week, where he was being treated for a mild case of pneumonia and chronic bronchitis.
“President and Mrs. Bush are very pleased to be home spending time with family and friends and are grateful for the outstanding care provided by his doctors and nurses,” Bush family spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement.

Bush was in the hospital for 16 days in January, where he was placed in the intensive care unit while undergoing treatment for pneumonia. His wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, was also admitted to the hospital that month for coughing and fatigue.
