Fox News host Tucker Carlson has signed a two-book deal that his literary agent says is worth eight figures, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
“I have long admired the Threshold list and am proud to be published alongside so many of my favorite authors,” Carlson said in a statement referring to his publisher, Threshold Editions, the AP reported.
{mosads}Carlson has seen his profile rise amid ongoing turmoil within Fox News and the departure of top stars from its prime-time lineup.
Nine months ago, Carlson was co-hosting “Fox and Friends Weekend” but has since been called upon to fill vacancies in three prime-time slots at 7 p.m. ET for the departed Greta Van Susteren, 9 p.m. for the departed Megyn Kelly and most recently 8 p.m., Bill O’Reilly’s old slot.
Threshold is a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster and has published books by other figures including President Trump and former Vice President Dick Cheney, among others.
