Vice President Pence on Saturday cruised into Sen. Joni Ernst’s (R-Iowa) third annual “Roast and Ride” event on a motorcycle.
Pence was a special guest at the event, which has become a hot spot for Republicans.

President Trump attended the event last year as a candidate. This year Iowa’s newly appointed governor, Kim Reynolds attended the event, as did U.S. Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and much of Iowa’s Republican congressional delegation.
The event is known for featuring a motorcycle ride and a pork roast, hence the name “Roast and Ride.”
