Police investigating reports of workplace shooting in Orlando
Five people were killed Monday in a shooting at a workplace in Orlando, Fla.
The incident appeared to be a workplace shooting with no indication of terrorism, police said.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said the gunman was a former employee of the business who was fired earlier this year.

The situation was “contained and stable” earlier Monday morning, the sheriff’s office said, according to a local TV station.
Gov. Rick Scott (R) in a statement issued Monday asked “all Floridians to pray for the families impacted by this senseless act of violence.
“Over the past year, the Orlando community has been challenged like never before,” Scott added.
“I will remain in contact with the Orlando law enforcement community throughout the day as more information is made available.”
Last year, a gunman killed nearly 50 people in an Orlando nightclub, making it the site of the worst mass shooting in modern history.
