The cover also touts a report from Time editor-at-large David Von Drehle entitled “The Russia Scandal Hits Home.”
Trump Jr. on Tuesday released a chain of emails of his conversations about setting up a meeting with the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, in June of 2016.
{mosads}He released the emails after The New York Times reported he was told before the meeting that harmful information on Clinton the lawyer was offering was part of a Russian government effort to help his father’s presidential campaign.
But Trump Jr. has said that the lawyer offered no damaging information on Clinton during the meeting.
The revelations about the meeting at Trump Tower have fueled speculation about potential collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign and Moscow amid Russia’s interference in the election.
Time magazine recently asked the Trump Organization to remove copies of a fake cover of President Trump that were on display at the company’s golf clubs, The Washington Post reported.
The request came after the newspaper reported that at least four Trump-branded golf clubs had displayed a fake Time magazine cover that depicted Trump with the headline “Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!”
The cover, dated March 1, 2009, was never published by the magazine.
