OJ Simpson heard about Trump’s ‘two scoops’ in prison

President Trump is becoming known for his love of two scoops of ice cream, even in the Nevada prison where O.J. Simpson has been imprisoned for nine years.

In a moment caught on a hot mic during his parole hearing on Thursday, Simpson and his lawyer joked about the president’s dessert habits, which were reported by Time Magazine in May.

At a dinner with reporters and Vice President Pence, Trump “gets two scoops of vanilla ice cream with his chocolate cream pie, instead of the single scoop for everyone else,” according to the report.

“Oh, I heard that,” Simpson said in a clip caught on live TV by CNN.

The line, which some have taken as revealing, quickly became a meme and was also included in a sketch on “Saturday Night Live.”

In the sketch, Trump — played by Alec Baldwin — rings a bell, and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) — played by Taran Killam — delivers two scoops of ice cream to him.
