Scaramucci seeks to build ‘stronger relationship’ with Republican National Committee
Jumping right into his new networking duties as White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci tweeted Sunday about building a “stronger relationship” with the Republican National Committee.
He “had [a] great call” with RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, Scaramucci said.
The RNC is “doing fantastic work to support” President Trump, he added. “[L]ooking forward to building even stronger relationship.”

Scaramucci may have been doing some damage control following the ouster of White House chief of staff Reince Priebus on Friday. Priebus is a former RNC chairman.
Scaramucci and Priebus did not get along. In an interview last week with The New Yorker, Scaramucci called Priebus a “f—— paranoid schizophrenic” and warned he would soon be forced to resign.
Priebus strongly advocated for McDaniel to replace him on the committee when he joined Trump’s White House. She has not publicly commented on Priebus’s resignation.
