Lewandowski sued for threatening to use ‘political connections’ in property dispute
Neighbors of former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski countersued him this month, alleging that he harassed them and threatened to use his “political connections” against them.
The Associated Press reported Tuesday that the lawsuit, filed by Glenn and Irene Schwartz, came in response to a $5 million lawsuit Lewandowski filed last month.
That lawsuit accuses the couple of blocking an easement granted to Lewandowski that would allow him to access a pond-front property in Windham, N.H.

The countersuit alleges that Lewandowski repeatedly harassed and threatened the couple, in one instance coming out of his house with a baseball bat, according to the AP.
The lawsuit also accuses Lewandowski of telling the couple that he would “use his political connections and clout to shut down all building and work and make your life a nightmare with an expensive and extended lawsuit.”
The couple is asking for damages related to emotional distress they say Lewandowski caused them, though it’s not clear how much money they are seeking.
