RNC reaches out to Hispanics

The Republican National Committee announced Friday that they have hired Manny Rosales to be “Deputy Director of Coalitions.”

Rosales previously worked at the D.C. office of The Latino Coalition.

The Republican problems with Hispanic voters have been discussed thoroughly. GOP strategist Mike Murphy lays out the argument clearly in this new Time Magazine piece.

In a statement announcing the hire, Steele touted Rosales as someone who will help the GOP extend its reach.

“Manny’s experience in the Hispanic community and his work with small business leaders, veterans and the Catholic community will be exceptionally valuable as the RNC works to communicate our party’s principles and expand the Republican Party to more Americans,” Steele said.
