Tiller family closes clinic
The family of George Tiller has decided to close the clinic where he performed abortions.
Till was allegedly murdered at the end of May by Scott Roeder, an anti-abortion activist. Tiller was a controversial because he performed late term abortions in his Kansas clinic.
“The family of Dr. George Tiller announces that effective immediately, Women’s Health Care Services, Inc., will be permanently closed,” the statement from the family’s lawyers, per the KansasCity.com, says.
“We are proud of the service and courage shown by our husband and father and know that women’s health care needs have been met because of his dedication and service,” the statement goes on. “That is a legacy that will never die.”
