Reagan’s son: My father wouldn’t have kicked ‘Dreamers’ out of US
Former President Ronald Reagan’s son, Michael Reagan, said that his father wouldn’t have decided to “kick the [Dreamers] out of the US” after the Trump administration announced it was ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program Tuesday.
“Fyi,my father would not kick the dreamers out of the US.He would find a way to work with Congress and lead,” Reagan tweeted Tuesday.

{mosads}Reagan’s tweet comes after Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that President Trump had decided to rescind DACA with a six-month window, giving Congress the chance to pass a legislative fix before the program formally ended.
Trump said in a tweet Tuesday night that he would “revisit” DACA in six months if Congress was unable to pass legislation on it.
The program protected undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as minors from deportation. About 800,000 immigrants have used the program.
Reagan also said that “POTUS needs to lead and Congress needs to act” before adding, “Immigration issues belong with the Congress not with POTUS.”
“Trump put the ball in the right court. The Congress. The Republicans control all 3 branches now deal with it or go home..,” Reagan tweeted.
