ISIS flag found in truck driven through Canadian crowd: report

An Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) flag was reportedly found in a U-Haul truck that was driven through a crowd of people in Edmonton, Alberta, late Saturday.

The incident is being looked into as “acts of terrorism,” NBC News reported.

The driver — who is in now in custody — allegedly stabbed a police officer with a knife outside of a football game.

{mosads}Officials say the man drove a U-Haul truck into people, injuring four people before the truck flipped over, later in the evening.

The ISIS flag was found in the passenger seat of the truck and will be “part of the investigation,” Edmonton Police Chief Rod Knecht told reporters.

“We believe the individual acted alone,” Knecht said.

The conditions of the people hit by the truck is not known, according to NBC.
