Chesley Sullenberger, the pilot who safely landed a U.S. Airways plane on water last week, attended President Obama’s inauguration on Tuesday.
Afterwards, Sullenberger, who ditched his plane of 155 passengers in the Hudson River, dined with his crew at the Hudson Restaurant and Lounge near Dupont Circle, reports the New York Post.
“He’s just a really nice, down-to-earth guy who said he was enjoying the attention,” a Hudson employee told the Post.
