FL GOP chairman won’t run against Kosmas
Florida Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer has opted not to run against freshman Rep. Suzanne Kosmas (D-Fla.) in 2010.
Greer said in recent weeks that he was weighing a bid. Instead, he will serve out his time as state party chairman.
“I am grateful to those who encouraged me to seek this office,” said Chairman Greer. “While I certainly appreciate the honor of consideration, I feel at this point in time I can better serve the Republican Party of Florida by completing my second term as Chairman.”
